Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LetsPact, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use LetsPact. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LetsPact to:

• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content (including photos and notes)
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Spam or send unsolicited messages through pact invitations or comments
• Falsify goal completions or manipulate streak data

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on LetsPact, including pact goals, completion photos, notes, and comments. By posting content with "Friends Only" or "Public" visibility, you grant LetsPact a non-exclusive license to display that content to the intended audience within the app.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

Content Moderation

Photos you upload as completion proofs or profile avatars may be subject to automated content review. Content that violates our acceptable use policy may be removed without prior notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload inappropriate or harmful content.

Health Data

LetsPact may access health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit or Health Connect with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to verify Move goal completions. We do not sell or share your health data with third parties. You can revoke health data permissions at any time through your device settings.

Push Notifications

By enabling push notifications, you consent to receiving daily reminders, pact completion alerts, and friend activity updates. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or by toggling the daily reminder option in the app settings.

Intellectual Property

LetsPact and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by LetsPact and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without our written permission.

Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access to LetsPact at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or the app.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note:

• Pacts you created alone will be permanently deleted
• For pacts shared with other members, only your membership is removed and the pact continues for remaining participants
• Your completion photos and notes will be permanently deleted, including those tied to shared pacts

Disclaimers

LetsPact is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

LetsPact is a goal-tracking tool and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. Always consult a qualified professional before starting any new health or fitness routine.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsPact shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of LetsPact after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
